Nichole Gedman '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Nichole Gedman and I am on the girls golf team at Burlingame High School in California. I am 5'5 and weigh about 125 pounds. As a freshman at Burlingame High, I was number 3 for every match we had and placed 5th in the county of San mateo out of 50 girls by the end of the season. In sophomore and junior year, I was captain of my team and placed 2nd in the county when i was a sophomore and a junior by the end of the season. Other then my high school team, I also play for the Peninsula Golf and Country Club in San Mateo, California. I also play on my own for other organizations like FCWT, NCGA and JGANC. I have been playing since I was 9 years old and have grown to love the sport. I play no less then 5 times a week and hope to play in college and earn a scholarship. Golf is a way for me to feel strong and confident and is my passion. I would love to go to a school that does not have the four seasons because I would want to play year round. I would also like to attend a medium/large school that is division 1 or 2 with options of majors in medical because I want to be a Pediatrician. Like I stated before, I would love to recieve sometime of scholarship for my skill because it would help my family and I pay for my education throughout college. I would love to play golf in college and get better and better. I would love to play in a high competition level and really help to be a leader of the team I am on. I am a vey focused, organized, outgoing girl that loves to learn and is very dedicated.
