RACHEL SZYDLOWSKI '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rachel Szydlowski. I am a very athletic and positive person. I do not like to lose one bit, but I can cope with losing when it happens. I love to have fun in practices, but I take them very seriously because the way you practice is the way you play. I don't mind coaches that yell at me; I usually respond best to a stern coach. I am very self-motivated and give it my all when I step out onto the court/field. I do not quit or ever go "easy" on anyone. Out of my graduating class in eighth grade, I won the Female Athlete of the Year award. I take school very seriously and challenge myself  with as many  honors and AP classes that I can possibly take. Not only do I take honors and AP classes, I am also a four sport athlete. I play golf and volleyball in the fall, basketball in the winter, and soccer in the spring. Then during the summer I am improving on the skills needed for each of these sports. As a player I can offer leadership, respect, a positive attitude, and dedication. The major I am wanting to go to college for is Nursing with a minor in Spanish. I am looking for a school that fulfills my needs of a good education and that has a department in my major and minor. I also want a place that I can participate in the sports that I love. If you are that school, then I would be very excited to come and play for you and go to your school.
