I have played sports for as long as I can remember, but was truly drawn to basketball at a young age and soon after began focusing on just that.  I’ve been fortunate to have great mentors and coaches that have helped me develop as a player and a person.  While it’s sometimes difficult, I appreciate the ways they challenge me to continue improving.  Also at a young age, I developed a love of cinematography and film production.  In my spare time I make films for booster club banquets, senior graduation videos and just for fun.  While my interests are divergent, I hope to find a college where I can pursue my love of the game and competition while pursuing a degree in film production and media studies.

I’m honored to be a team captain and I’ve always taken a lot of pride in being a strong team player.  Around Cedar Park I’m known for my shooting, but I’m just as proud of the other ways I can impact the game.  I enjoy putting rebounds, assists and steals on the stat sheet just as much as points.  I believe hard work and focus have put me in this position, but I wouldn’t be here without my teammates.  I love the feeling of walking off the court with my team after a great win.

I have a lot more to learn and look forward to the next phase of my life, hopefully as a collegiate student athlete.
