2014-I hope to make the most of every opportunity. I want to play and make a difference in college basketball. I was introduced to basketball shortly after being adopted from Haiti nine years ago and have loved it ever since. I also hope to earn a college scholarship to make possible my college education by using my athletic gifts. This is a gift I greatly appreciate and consider a blessing. I want to be able contribute to my community and hopefully to be an inspiration to others.
One of my favorite quotes by Thomas Edison, "I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won't work." This quote has helped me to realize that success is earned through hard work, experiences and failures, it is also self taught.
2016-I have been through a lot since 2014 but I honestly would not trade it for anything because it has made me stronger as a person and better as an athlete. I am still in search of my dreams and I have high hopes for myself because after everything I have been through I still have hopes of being part of something special and always working towards something that is bigger than myself.
2016-2017-I have finished my first year at King's University in Alberta Canada. It is in the ACAC league and an up and coming women's basketball program. Through hard work the team was able to accomplish a lot in one season as far as competing within our league. I was named North second team all conference and the team MVP. It was a blessing. Thomas Edison's quote above is still one of my favorites, it still speaks of the dreams and potentials I still see within and wish to bring out little by little.
