In college, I aspire to make a difference wherever I choose to go. Whether it is on the court, the field, in the classroom, or on campus, I will strive to let my presence be known. Through my optimistic attitude and persistent work ethic, I believe that I can be a perfect fit for a collegiate level team. One attribute that makes me a standout from my peers would have to be my leadership ability. I aim to be a good role model on my team and in my community. My goal, as a team's leader, is to pull together each player's best contributions to the team and combine them into one grand effort. In doing this, I believe that any team can truly be successful no matter how great the odds may seem. In my community, I have taken on many leadership roles. I have organized donation drives, led relay for life teams, been an active member of student government, and assisted coaches in both basketball and track and field. All of these experiences have taught me valuable lessons that I can apply to my everyday life.
My academic life is extremely important to me. Being a student-athlete requires a whole new level of responsibility. It entitles sufficient time-management and educated decision making. I value each minute I can get to learn new things and become a better well-rounded person.
Based on my passion to pursue my love for the game and my desire to grow as an individual, I feel I would make a substantial asset to any team that wishes to have me.
