I've had a tough couple years and a few set backs in my basketball career. My senior year I fought through knee problems. It hindered my game a bit but I fought thru everyday thru practices and games. I gave everything I had that year to make it to the end. That summer I focused on getting it right for my freshman year of college. I was at the gym everyday working on my shot, handle, cuts, maneuvers, followed by my physical game on the football field. I went into my freshman year stronger than ever at Mohawk Valley. By the time the first month passed of pre season my coach had told me I earned a starting spot and that I came in ahead of the game. A week to follow I tore my ACL. It got to me mentally and lost heart for the game. I put in everything to be the greatest I could be and it all got taken away. The process was long and traumatizing but I decided this injury wasn't going to be the end of me. I began to rehab and start all over again. I am now at Niagara County Community College and am looking to transfer to a University next year. My goal is to get into a D2 school. I know I have the heart, dedication, and passion to do it. I would be a great asset to any team and could bring so much to the table for the team and program. I am also beyond focused on my academics and have the next 6 years planned out to a T. I am a liberal arts sciences major or pre-med. After my basic four years I will be transferring to a dental school. I am not just here for basketball but its still just as much my focus. I've been tested beyond means and I am mentally and physically strong enough to break through any doors that have and will be closed. I am ready to take the next step in my journey to a promising future.
