I am a 5'4" PG from Lithonia, GA. I graduated in the class of 2011 from Miller Grove High School. I played varsity basketball all four years in high school. My goals are to be a part of team where my talent and abilities can be utilized to make the team more effective and to obtain a degree in Media Arts. I received a scholarship my freshman and sophmore years in college, however, I received a preseason injury the 1st year and was redshirted the 2nd year. Therefore I have not had the opportunity to actually play ball at the college level. During the 2012-2013 season at Garden City Community College in Kansas, I practiced with the team every day. I feel that my leadership and basketball skillset has improved over the past year. Our team ended the season with a 29-4 record and although I was not on the floor, the other redshirts and I made it our goal to prepare the team for each game. I feel that I made the best of my role as a redshirt by pushing my teammates at practice to make them better and the end result was that it also made me a much better player.
