Sofia Ahooja '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a point guard with excellent ball handling skills and great court vision. I have great stamina from start to finish that allows me to play both ends of the floor. I am a pass-first point guard, which allows me to get my entire team involved in the game. However, my ability to take it to the rack comes into play when I see an opportunity to score myself. My main statistic is assists. Last season, I had 129 assists in 31 games with my team's 30% FGP. As far as academics goes, I have a 3.95 GPA (soon to be at least a 4.0 by the end of my senior year) and a score of 1280 on the SAT. It is my dream to become a pediatric surgeon. By the end of my high school career, I will have completed six AP courses, as well as being a part of various tutoring clubs on campus. My diligence and willingness to work hard shows in both academics and basketball.
