The goals I have set for myself are pretty high because I want the best future I can have. My goals, as far as college, are to receive an athletic scholarship for track or basketball and compete at a division one level. I hope to attend a division one college and study health care to become a pathologist.
As far as basketball goes, I believe I would be a good candidate because I have a positive attitude and I enjoy learning, from my coaches and my fellow teammates. I also enjoy helping my teammates as well and encouraging them, I do not like to see my teammates upset because they've had a bad game or a bad day at practice, reason being I know the feeling. Another thing is, I'm a hard worker, I try to meet the expectations of my coaches and team members, and I try to push myself to become the best athlete I can be. In my opinion it is very important to be a team player. A couple of things that may set me apart from other athletes is that I appreciate constructive criticism because it is helping me improve on flawed moves and making me a better athlete. One other thing that may set me apart from other candidates, is I believe that academics come first.
I hope that from this that I may be a considered candidate for your team, it would be an honor to play for you. I hope I may be what you are looking for.
