I got a late start with the game of softball, but have been a quick study. I started playing in 7th grade, and immediately fell in love with the game. I advanced quickly from Dixie League, to a local travel team, and then on to a national team. I play catcher, but I am also a strong all-around utility player. In fact, I have played every position on the field competitively, except pitcher. I have really enjoyed this last year playing national travel ball, and have had some amazing experiences, including playing in PGF Nationals in Huntington Beach, CA.
I hope to continue to the next level to play collegiate softball, so that I can continue to grow as a person and a player. I am a hard worker, and have been told that I am very coach-able. I have a strong team spirit, and do everything I can to keep my team up, even when the game gets tough. I am a serious student with an overall GPA of 3.5. This semester, I am carrying a 3.7 GPA. I hope to pursue a degree in business, with interest in real estate and marketing.
