Stormy Zyzyk '15 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in attending a college where I can demonstrate my academic and athletic abilities while being challenged to perform to the next level. At this point, I do not have a preference in terms of school size or location, but would like to attend a school where I will be able to earn a degree in business and to compete in athletics early. I have played softball since I was seven and love to compete while being a leader and challenging others to improve their game. As a varsity starter my freshman year, I was lead-off batter and earned 1st Team All District.  I continued that progress as in my sophomore year was again leadoff batter, selected as 1st Team All District and National District Player of the Year, 1st Team All Region, Honorable Mention Washington Post All Metropolitan and Honorable Mention All-State.  My Junior year I was selected 1st Team All Conference, 1st Team All Region, 1st Team All State and again Washington Post Honorable Mention All Metropolitan. The coaches that I have worked with throughout the years have continually praised me for my hustle, leadership, hard work and my ability to coach younger players. I would love the opportunity to play for a program where I can contribute early on and at a school with a strong academic standing.
