Madysin Leighton '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play softball in college.  My love of playing the sport has grown so much and I have only been playing since I was 12 years old.  I am practicing every chance I can get to improve my hitting power, my base stealing.  Just an example of my stats from a tournament one weekend was 10-14, .714 BA, .750 OBP, 8 Runs, 5RBIs, 2 SB, 1 3B.  This was for 7 games.  Currently, I am on a select softball team and always look forward to practices and tournaments with my softball family.  For the first time, I will be attending the world series in Branson this summer and that is a weeklong of softball! 

 In my spare time, I spend time with my family or work on my artwork.  Of course, I do make sure that I get my homework and studies completed.  Playing sports has been a passion of mine since I was 4 years old.  I have done soccer, volleyball and track as well.  I am excited about entering High school in the fall.
