Kaitlin Owens '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaitlin Owens I am 5’10” I currently have a 3.233
GPA and my SAT score is 1420, I am a left handed pitcher and also a first baseman.
I have always dreamed of playing college softball because it is the one thing I
have always loved and have always had a passion for. I have always been told
that my leadership abilities are my best attributes. I will take pride in any
team I play for and always strive to be my best for the team and also myself.
My drive is also a great attribute I will always strive to be better and never
settle for good, because I can always improve and I often find myself thinking
about my game and going through every pitch or every hit and striving to make
them better. I am a very coachable athlete and can very easily alter my game to
fit best to a team’s approach to a game. My other passion is animals which is
why I plan on studying Large Animal Veterinary Medicine, and in the future open
my own clinic. I do not really care where I go to play college softball whether
it is a large or small school. My athletic goals include making an impact on a
team whether it is on the field or off.
