Personal Statement

My goals get larger every year. Hicksville has always been a small school, in a small community. That community has always been known to step up when challenges come near. With Hicksville being such a small school and small community, it is huge when a sport does really well. It has always been a goal for me in softball to not only win our Conference for the very first time, but to break the winning game record. The record now is set at 14 wins. Every year my goal is to beat that record. Another goal for me is to go to a good college, and be able to start a career that I love. One that I will want to get up and go to work everyday. My dream has always been to play softball at the collegiate level. I am hoping to be able to succeed in that dream and play for somewhere I love, while getting a great education.

The team as a whole, placed 3rd in the state tournament in Wabash, IN, second in a tournament, places in top 5 in many other tournaments, and placed in top 30 teams in the World Series in Columbus, OH.
