Abigail Umphlett '16 Recruiting Profile

I have always dreamed about playing softball at a collegiate level! I believe that I am a good candidate for any team, because I work hard, I am a team player, and I also have the fiery passion to play deep down inside of me. I feel that I am different from other recruits because not only to I work hard on the softball field, but also in the classroom. School is something that is very important to me and I put a lot of effort into my academics. I believe that I could also make a difference on any team because once I get going I will do anything to win, but also at the same time I remember to keep my composure and have good sportsmanship. Overall, I just love the game of softball and will do anything to be able to continue my career at a collegiate level.
