Mariah Crisp '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9" pitcher from Greenland, NH. I will graduate in 2012. I have 9 years of pitching experience as a primary pitcher. I train hard and have had quite a bit of success over my pitching career. I am very controlled and poised. I have pitched on the varsity squad my freshman, sophomore and junior year. As a freshman, I helped my team win the state championship. As a sophomore, I led a young varsity squad back to the state quarter finals. I pitched four no hitters. I made 2nd Team All-State, NH All Coaches pick 2nd Team, Team MVP, Foster's Daily Democrat Dream Team high honorable mention and was nominated to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region and All-America Teams. As a junior, I was voted team captain, I led my team back to the state quarter finals. Was the team MVP and made the NH First Team All State, Foster's Daily Democrat Dream Team First Team and the Max Prep 2011 NH All-League Softball First team and the # 1 starting pitcher for my highschool team and a # 1 pitcher for my summer team. Ideally, I would like to be in a larger size school, but am willing to consider medium and small schools of all divisions. Financial assistance will be an important factor as my family has need. I will strongly consider schools from Maine to Pennsylvania and will consider schools as far south as Florida and east of the Mississippi. I would like to be in a qualitative academic/athletic situation. My goal is to contribute as a freshman and be a positive impact.
