Personal Statement

I like to set high goals for myself and have always managed to achieve them. My ultimate goal is to become a Primary Care Physician specializing in Sports Medicine. While attending a college that will provide me with the tools necessary to obtain my degree, I also hope to continue playing the game of softball.

I've been playing competitive softball since I was 10 and quickly worked my way up to playing for a high caliber team. I also enjoy playing volleyball in the Fall, which helps to keep me active and in shape. Being the daughter of a college athlete who graduated from a D1/ BIG 10 school, my father has taught me the importance of commitment and dedication while staying extremely humble. The goals I want to achieve will never be handed to me and success will only happen with effort and work.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
