I'm very passionate about softball. I play year round between my high school team and my travel team. Although I dedicate much of my time to softball, my main focus is on my academics. Due to my academic commitment I feel a Division II or a Division III school would best suit my desire to both play softball at a collegiate level, while accomplishing my academic goals. As I mentioned in my profile, I am interested in pursuing a career in Pediatric Oncology. I know this will take a high level of commitment which is why I want to make sure I have enough time to manage both softball and academics while in college.
Why do I think I stand out as a player?
I'm always looking to improve myself every chance I get. I strive to put forth the perfect effort every time. Also, I am a utility player so I'm not afraid to play any position my coach asks me to play where it will help my team the most. I am a consistent player which doesn't always draw attention, but in the long run..... stands out.
