My name is Melissa DiPhilippo and I am going into my senior year at King Philip High School in Wrentham, Massachusetts. My primary position is catcher and my secondary position is second base. I have played on many club/travel teams since I was twelve years old and have been playing softball since I was six. Last year I played for the Central Mass Thunder 16U team. I received the honor of being named the captain of the team and I was the starting catcher. This year I am currently on the 18U East Coast Drama and looking forward to a great summer. In my sophomore year I played on the Junior Varsity team, was one of the catchers and was named the offensive player of the year. I am a member of a couple of clubs including National Honor Society, History National Honor Society, Peer Mediation, and KP Cares. Throughout the years of playing softball I had one big dream in mind. That dream was to play softball at a college that can also give me the best possible education.
