Jamie Finnical '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jamie Finnical and I am a Junior varsity pitcher at Franklin High School in Reisterstown, Maryland.  I am on the honor roll and challenge myself by taking advanced placement courses in school.  I am a caregiver at the Baltimore Humane Society and spend a vast amount of my summer time there. I also enjoy babysitting and entertaining small children.  I have a quote that I live by, "Do something today that your future self will thank you for."  This quote really motivates and inspires me to make the most out of everyday, and put 110% in everything I do.  Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of pitching at the collegiate level.  Every time I step on to the field, I am motivated to do whatever it takes to help my team be successful.  I am a team player. I owe all my accolades to everyone that has helped and supported me along the way. I model myself after Jennie Finch, but my parents are my role models. Their work ethic has been instilled in me and is one of my best qualities. No matter what I do, I challenge myself to do my best, because I have a competitive spark in me that makes me special.
