I have been playing softball since I was 8. I have always been a catcher and I have played in the outfield. This season (2015-2016) I have also learned to play 3rd base. I love playing softball and I also Dance (Ballet and Lyrical). I hope to one day play college softball while earning a degree in either Geology or Marine Biology.
On the field I work hard and try to learn everything I can; playing where I am needed, I do the best I can for my team in whatever position the coach assigns. In addition, I am currently 5 year member of 4H with a focus in photography.
In the classroom I am working hard to improve my GPA. I have also volunteered at our local library, helping with the children‘s summer program and earlier this summer I worked at a local orchard.
I want to attend a college where I can excel not only in the classroom but also on the field. I hope to find a college that has a high level of academic standards as well as being a competitor in softball.
When I have earned my degree and moved on to the next phase of my life I want to be able to look back on my time at college and be proud. I want my parents to be proud of whom I have become and I want to be proud of myself for being a competitor and a scholar.
