Anna Schutzler '16 Recruiting Profile

It's always been my dream to play Division 1 softball at the highest level. Sports have always been my life so I would love to be around them in my future, even after softball. I would like to major in Sports Journalism and Broadcasting and minor in Religious studies. My religion is very important to me and I think that helps shapes who I am on and off the field. On the field, I tend to talk constantly. I always make sure that everyone knows the plays and the count and what to do if the ball comes to them. I keep everyone on their toes during a game. 

It's not only important to stay on top of things on the field, but in the classroom as well. I've always been pushed by my parents to perform to the best of my abilities in school. I'm an honor student and I'm very active in multiple clubs at school. I know what I want to do with my life and I'm willing to work hard to get where I need to be.
