My name is Shelby McElhattan, and I recently graduated from Tri-City Christian School in Vista in the class of 2011. I have experience from pre-high school baseball, 3 years of junior high softball, 4 years of being a varsity starter, and 3 years of travel softball. I have earned the titles of (2)All-Area 1st Team,(2) All-Area 2nd Team, a runner-up in the 18U National Softball Championship, and a winner, alongside my team, of the California State Softball Championship. I try my hardest to show constant leadership, perseverance, and determination on the playing field. My goal has always been to continue playing sports for as long as I can throughout my life, and I do not want to quit once high school is over. I am not picky at all when it comes to a college. All I really desire is to continue playing the sport I love and being a part of a team. Although, when it comes to expensive schools, money is somewhat a challenge in my family, but I have already applied to FASFA. I have not narrowed down a major that I want to pursue yet. I have some ideas, but none of them are definite. My athletic goals are to play on a team somewhere and to give everything I have to the coach and also, to the team. I am interested anywhere where I can play softball and help my team attain the highest goals that they have.
