Hi, I'm Danielle,
It has been my goal to play College softball since I first started playing travel ball as a 9-year old. I love the game, the competition, and the constant desire to improve that it instills. I strongly desire to follow my parents into the Health field, and would love to enjoy my college process by playing softball.
I am told that I am a great team mate, I never get down, and always pick up my team mates. I am a strong leader, sometimes verbally, but always by example. I am always willing to listen, and will let you know if for some reason I don't understand. I have a reputation for being funny and keeping my team up, even when facing adversity. I love to work hard, and will spend the time and energy needed to do what I am asked on and off the field to get better as a player, and a person. I avoid drama on and off the field, and will not get involved in judging my team mates. Both of my parents are athletes, and I was blessed with their strength and athleticism. I am consistent and reliable as a player, and have a history of coming up big when it counts. I don't rattle easily.
I am very strong in my convictions, and I do not follow the crowd. Peer pressure is not a factor in my life, as I enjoy the strength and freedom of being my own person. I strive to take care of myself well. I have a strong family life, which allows me to be who I am and know I will be supported.
After moving to a new School in my 8th grade year, I struggled a little academically for a bit, but have since renewed my commitment to achieving in the classroom. I am currently taking the most demanding schedule I have faced to date, and have improved significantly in both habits and results. I am excited to reach my goals of pulling my GPA back over 3.0 composite as I finish my High School years.
I am confident that if I am selected for your team, I will not disappoint you. I do not carry an attitude on or off the field, and will always work hard. Thanks for considering me!
Sincerely,
Danielle Crilly
