Amanda Schwartz '16 Recruiting Profile

I am very excited about being a college athlete (I am counting the days).  I hope to go to a school that has a strong academic presence and sports programs. I want to be a part of the Collegiate Spirit of the school.

Currently my interests are in Criminal Justice.  If I go in this direction, I will use my education to help defend people that are in unfortunate circumstances in hopes to helping them better their lives and move forward.  I also have an artistic ability and eye for style but want to use these talents in the business world, therefore, I'm thinking Advertising is a good fit for me too.  I continue to research both fields of work and know that I will find my way when all aspects of my college years fall into place.

As a ball player, I am loyal and dedicated to the game.  I am looking for a collegiate team that plays with passion and  does the best they can every time they are on the field.  I have learned over the years that this group of ladies you spend most of your time with become your family and you need to have mutual respect for each other  in order to accomplish the goals set in front of you.  When you walk off the field at the end of a game it is a "WIN or LOSS" as a team!

I'm know my passion for softball will show through as a strong team player and leader for any team I am on.  I always give 110% on the field whether at practice or in a game. I get along well with people, don't get involved in the drama and can help calm down situations when they arise.  My primary goal is to leave it all on the field every game I play and learn from my mistakes and hopefully come back and do it right the next time.
