In 2013, I came to NCSA after 20 years of coaching. As my husband and I started our family, NCSA was a great fit: I could still “coach” soccer players and student-athletes without working the 60-plus hours a week and traveling constantly as a college coach must do. I love that we are a mission-focused company and help student-athletes discover what is really a great fit for them and help them go after what they want.
I have coached at many levels of the college game (Division I, Division III, NAIA) and loved having that experience. Most of my time in college athletics was as an assistant or head soccer coach, but I have also been an interim athletics director, head tennis coach, and sports information director. Colleges where I have worked include University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), Miami University (OH), Mercer University, University of St. Francis (IL), Dominican University (IL), and Wesleyan College (GA).
As a college athlete, I played soccer, lacrosse, and swam at Grove City College (Division III) and then transferred to the soccer team at University of Kentucky (Division I). Athletics taught me so much that it was only natural my role would be to give back. At NCSA, that impact is amplified, and I have been able to help thousands of student-athletes find their college home.
