“The recruitment process is well thought out and provides ample information for any prospective student. Naturally it is geared towards US based students as opposed to international students (which I am assuming are in the minority). We are based in Cape Town, South Africa and our needs differ. So, we suggest a separate/additional NCSA module to cater for international students would be useful. Part of this would be some sort of assistance in linking to educational institutions in each international territory where prospective students could get info about SATS and where they could take the exams. Also, many international students have not visited the US which makes the college selection process more difficult. It would be good to have links to information videos for each college.”

“Communication is at the highest level from NCSA. We are early in the process and have a lot of information to both process and attend to. One negative is that we are based in Cape Town South Africa and perhaps need more time to assess the various colleges and hone in on those that we feel are suitable. We are finding the time to do so with Oliver, but this is tough in between his very busy school and sporting timetable. As we are also both working long hours this isn’t taking time.”

There is a lot of knowledge on do’s and don’ts to be the most effective. The resources available for contacting coaches and even to consider schools that may have not been on your radar before is outstanding.”

“I can’t say enough about the hard work put in by the NCSA staff. Every time we call someone is readily available. We were nervous about sending out our first email to a coach and a staff member stayed on the phone, guiding and giving recommendations while I typed it up. Our son is getting many notices from colleges and receiving information about camps in addition to being followed by quite a few coaches. Being from a small town this is just the boost we need. I would definitely recommend NCSA!”

“Good and easy access to a wealth of valuable information, particularly the college search and email addresses. Presume you want to hear about the cons to improve the site so here goes: The roster openings seem dated and/or not as robust as expected. The “top matches” part seems lacking since we’ve been waiting for his “top” matches for quite a while. The email functionality needs some tweaking so that replies capture the thread rather than starting fresh each time.”

They treat you like an adult and understand that you are serious about moving on to the next level once you graduate high school. My only piece of construction criticism would be to increase your server capacity to allow longer highlight videos. Track season can have numerous great moments and I’d double the length available.”
