“Coach Josh Ruggles is an excellent communicator and makes the process easy to understand and enjoyable for the parent as well as the athlete.”
Class of 2023 – Parent – Basketball
“I would recommend NCSA because the people are really kind and want to help in any way possible. They just want to see people succeed in the sport they love, and they’re willing to help this stressful and confusing process.”
Class of 2023 – Student-Athlete– Basketball
“NCSA is just the best platform to learn about the recruiting process and get yourself out there.”
Class of 2022 – Parent – Basketball
“I feel like you all are the best people to help a player reach their dreams of playing college basketball.”
Class of 2022 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“I would not be playing college basketball if I didn’t have NCSA.”
Class of 2023 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“I would recommend this to a friend or anyone else because it is a good way for athletes to get a chance to play in college and it’s really good.”
Class of 2021 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“Really great service that keeps following up with you throughout the process. Has been really helpful!”
Class of 2021 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“I feel like I have many teammates/friends who work hard and deserve the opportunity to be recruited. But they haven’t been recruited that hard so I definitely recommend NCSA to anybody.”
Class of 2021 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“I gave that score because this site allows you to get a lot of exposure to colleges that you didn’t know about. It allows coaches to look at you from the comfort of their own office and not traveling to your tournaments and stuff. They can watch you from any time or place and it’s great.”
Class of 2021 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“I gave this score because my NCSA experience has been only positive. I am definitely getting the help I need in the recruiting process. My recruiting coach does research for schools that are fitting for me and he checks in and calls regularly. I definitely would recommend NCSA to a friend or a teammate!!”
Class of 2020– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“NCSA has helped me a lot so far, even though I’m really young in the recruiting process. They’ve opened me up to so many more schools than I thought were available. They have so much to offer, overall. The college matching system is absolutely awesome. I love searching through the college match list and checking out the type of schools NCSA recommends for me. All of the drills really provide insight on what I should be looking for in the college I choose and how to improve my chances of being a college basketball player. NCSA has already helped me a lot and I’ve already recommended it to some friends.”
Class of 2020– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“The classes are very helpful and easy to understand the lesson chosen. Our recruiting coach is really helpful when it comes to improving our profile, improving ourselves as an athlete and individual. Personally, my recruiting coach is easy to talk to and very understanding to the point where I can talk to her about any personal problems I am going through as a female athlete.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
I think you do a great job with the video and website program. My son is constantly on the website looking to see if anyone is following him. It encourages him to do his best each time he plays basketball. I think it’s a great tool to promote his love and skill of the game, and it definitely is pushing him in the right direction for furthering his education.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“1. Simple yet effective way to keep in touch with coaches. 2. Comprehensive website. 3. Helpful recruiting coaches who are genuinely interested in getting kids signed with the right school. 4. It works! On my own, I was able to get about 7 coaches interested in my daughter; after joining NCSA, that list has grown to over 50.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“It’s a very comprehensive and easy to operate site. Since we signed up, our daughter has interest from coaches at colleges we didn’t even know existed. Also, the people are nice, interested, helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond when we ask for help.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“It works. When I was trying to promote my daughter on my own, she had 6-7 colleges looking at her. Now she has about 70. I found schools that I did not even know existed!”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“On our own, doing our own highlight films and outreaches to coaches, we had gotten about 7 schools interested in our daughter. Now, after two seasons with NCSA, 77 are following her.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“Even though my work schedule is very hectic and the fact that Malik plays football as well, NCSA seems to be really interested in making sure that Malik stays on target with certain information and most importantly that his grades remain on point. I’m excited because I now have someone that is interested in his talent as a basketball player but is concerned about his grades, as well. Anyone that is willing to help me help Malik make his dream come true, I’m all for recommending to others.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“Ben Wright was able to answer all of our questions in a clear, concise way that we were able to understand, and he even used specific examples that helped us even more! We really appreciate his advice. It feels like we’re talking to a good friend that has the experience to help us get through all the tough decisions that we have to make to help our son get to the next level in basketball and ultimately play for a college team in the next 2 years! Thank you, NCSA and Ben Wright, for all your much-needed help!”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“NCSA gave us the knowledge and pointed us in the right direction for our son, Scotty, and matched him up with all the schools in New England, where he wants to play. He’s only a junior in high school and already had multiple coaches contacting him because of NCSA. We would be nowhere without you guys. Thank you, NCSA.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“Coach Doyle and everyone at NCSA have done a great job communicating and explaining the recruiting process to my son at the stage we are at in this process. They are very helpful, and Coach Doyle has provided excellent feedback on what my son should continue doing to reach his goal of playing basketball at the college level. Based on this I would definitely recommend other families who have student -athletes interested in playing sports in college to consider NCSA to help them reach their goals, as well.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“Coach Doyle has done a great job handling my son’s recruiting process. He is always available to talk, has been very honest on what to do next and is very easy to communicate with. We feel very comfortable with him and would definitely recommend others who have the same goal that we do.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“I feel you provide us with access to coaches and information on recruiting. I tell our friends you are just providing a vehicle to get in front of coaches. I feel if we utilize the site and take advantage of the webinars, we are better prepared to get through the college process.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“The reason I gave NCSA a 10 score is because of how helpful NCSA has been for me. Since the start of my 8th grade year, I have been using this program to help me with my recruiting in the future. 3 years later, in 2018, it’s my junior year and I am starting to start my recruiting process. NCSA has helped me with not just showcasing my athletics but also my academics. I would recommend everyone who is serious about their sport to have NCSA right there by their side. NCSA has an amazing staff with experience and useful information that can help anyone with questions concerns about their recruiting process. Thank you, NCSA, for everything you guys have done for me so far, and for sure my story is not over yet.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“NCSA has been and still is a big help to my family and I during the recruiting process for my daughter. I personally have learned so much about the recruiting process, as well as my wife and daughter, about the do’s and don’ts of recruiting from the website’s NCSA University and articles on your Twitter and Facebook pages. I recently recommended NCSA to a parent who was looking for help in the college recruiting process for her son.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“I feel that NCSA has helped my family and I out tremendously when it comes to learning all about the recruiting process. There’s so much to know about the rules on what an athlete can do and when, as well as what college coaches can do, and NCSA has been a big help to my family. I have recommended NCSA to a few college aspiring basketball players and they now have profiles with NCSA.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“NCSA has been a big help to my family. We all have learned so much about the recruiting process that has blessed us greatly. I know there’s still more to learn and to do to reach our ultimate goal, but I would definitely recommend NCSA to a friend who wants to be the Next Collegiate Student Athlete.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“Coach Doyle has been a valuable resource to our family in regard to the recruiting process. He’s always available to answer questions and takes it upon himself to text or call about how Jake is doing. He has also been a great sounding board with questions regarding prep schools and the benefits they offer. Bottom line is that NCSA just didn’t collect the fee and go away, they are still a big part of helping us through the recruiting process. Thanks, Coach Doyle! The Blaisdell Family”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“There are a lot of great tools to utilize. It’s nice to have a coach on board to follow up and answer any questions. The video department is a good tool, but I feel that they could put a little more thought into the clips presented to them. Chase Spreen has been wonderful, easily accessible and great with follow-up and helping us implement a plan. My daughter has felt comfortable sharing her thoughts and ideas with him for a possible College basketball experience.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“Coach Chase has been wonderful with precise instruction on areas to work on. Following his lead, Casey’s game has improved dramatically. He is reliable and encouraging. Additionally, Chase helped us with the video department, getting the sent footage posted on her profile. We are more than happy to have these tools at our disposal. Thank you!”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“NCSA is a great tool, but the work is on you to do. I thought there would be assistance of an adviser or someone to assist with the process. There should be more of a direct statement. “You have to do the work yourself.” As a resource, I am completely satisfied with NCSA.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“We could never learn this information or know where to begin without NCSA. We think this is the best chance that our son has to be recruited. These days, you cannot always depend on your school to promote players in the ever-changing athletic world. I believe at the end of Colton’s high school career, whether he gets picked up or not, we gave it our best effort and you guys helped with that.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“NCSA is the only place where an athlete can find all the resources needed to not only get noticed by schools in the next level of your sport but to also notice the schools that fit best for an athlete’s future. NCSA offers a personalized team that will dedicate themselves to helping you reach whatever goal you dream. There is simply no one better equipped than the coaches at NCSA.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“When we joined, we were surprised by how many colleges there were and how many doors opened up with NCSA. We were also pleased with the tools to help educate us through the process of recruitment. And the recruiting coaches are by your side to help you if you ever needed it.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“We are still relatively early in the process, but up to this point, the biggest benefit has been the accessibility of the college coaches. We wouldn’t even know some of these schools existed, much less how to contact their coaches, without NCSA. It also helps to have everything the coaches will be interested in knowing located in one easy to access forum, such as our player profile. Also, the insight of our personal recruiting coach has already proved to be a valuable resource.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“Julian has been awesome to work with. He converses with our son on a level that makes Brody very comfortable to talk with him. We are very happy to have Julian on our side to aid us with this college recruiting process. We have thrown him some curve balls, and he has handled them all very professionally.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“The highlights for us have been the 1. Email with the list of recommended colleges. This has been very helpful to level set expectations for our student athlete. 2. Timely and high-quality creation/updating of the highlight videos. The staff has been extremely patient and fast moving in taking the video clips I’ve sent, transforming into impactful footage.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“Very organized. Huge resource! As parents, we wanted to support our son and his passion for basketball and his desire to play at the next level but had no idea where to start. NCSA put the pieces together for us, and we can go about it at our pace with many options.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“I would highly recommend NCSA to a friend that would actually be able to utilize the services that you provide. Anyone that is just looking for an easy path to college, I would not suggest investing the money unless the student athlete is qualified to reap the benefits. It is a great investment for those that have the means of paying for the service.”
Class of 2019 – Student-Athlete – Basketball
“The people are very nice and friendly, and the whole site is easy to work with. They also all have a positive mindset and want to see you succeed. I also like that it includes a section where you are able to look at all the colleges and what they have to offer.”
Class of 2019 – Parent – Basketball
“The primary reason for the score I gave NCSA is because you help many student-athletes achieve their goals to become a college athlete. NCSA gives athletes many tools and strategies to use to communicate with college coaches. Also, they help us stay on top of our recruiting process and offer the specialized guidance of coach Doyle.”
Class of 2020 – Parent – Basketball
“This program is very efficient and legit. It has a lot of people who are always available to help when it comes to the member’s recruitment process. The people who work for this program are very easy to work with and know how to communicate with the members and parents.”
Class of 2019– Parent – Basketball
“The staff at NCSA is knowledgeable and friendly – and they are very proactive in reaching out to me. The site is intuitive and relevant for the sport my daughter plays. The guides and lessons on how to reach out and communicate with coaches has been great and spot on. The network of NCAA registered coaches that are active on the NCSA site appears to be very deep. The use of the “link” in emails is smart. Great platform. Love the iPhone app and the reminders and updates that get pushed through as coaches either view, follow, or search my daughter. This has been a great tool that eliminates the sole reliance on the AAU coach and/or high school coach to network with schools/coaches that are the best fit for my daughter.”
Class of 2019– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“You go above and beyond to help a student connect with a college and do what they need to do.”
Class of 2019– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“Not only do I believe that NCSA is such a great resource, but it’s is a true help to any player’s recruitment in any sport. It is a reliable program that keeps you updated and is serious about getting you a college scholarship. I would without a doubt recommend NCSA to any friend or teammate.”
Class of 2019– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“The primary reason I gave NCSA a 10 rating is because any questions or concerns I may have that I talk to my recruiter (Coach Ross) about, he is always so thorough and straight forward, to the point to where any other questions we may have after the question we just asked him, he has already answered them. I would really recommend my fellow teammates, friends and family to use NCSA recruiting services. Thank you.”
Class of 2019– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“The reason I gave you a 10 is because your quality of the website is very eye-catching, and NCSA is also very helpful when it comes to putting valuable information on my profile for college coaches, updating me every day with emails about anything going on that is important, and it is also easy to find out anything about the recruiting process.”
Class of 2019– Parent – Basketball
“So far, this seems to be a great tool. I did see some schools missing, especially in the West (California) region. My son is a sophomore this year, so we’ll see how this process works for him. We do have some work to do, relative to posting additional information, so hopefully that will spur more interest from the coaches.”
Class of 2019– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“I love the opportunities NCSA gives me. From the NCSA University, to learning how to properly email a coach. I love having a recruiting coach. She’s so helpful and helps me understand what comes with the decisions I make on the court. It’s all so amazing, and I’m so grateful for being an athlete with NCSA. Thank you so much!”
Class of 2019– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“This website has given me the tools and resources I need to become a successful athlete. Trainers and coaches are always there to help you through the process and talk. It also gives me the ability to contact coaches I would’ve never gotten to without this website. Without a doubt, if you are trying to fulfill your dreams of becoming a college athlete, I would recommend NCSA.”
Class of 2019– Parent – Basketball
“Everyone on staff has been so helpful and has made the college search process manageable. The tools available to us are invaluable! I really don’t know how we would navigate through this process without NCSA’s help. I really appreciate that we are working with people that know the sport and are able to give my son valuable information on how to manage his profile for college coaches to view. Thank you!”
Class of 2020– Parent – Basketball
“At this point, I’m not sure if the cost is going to be worth it in the end. With just getting started, it seems to be more about networking and getting your profile in the hands of people where you “want to” go to school, rather than who is in “interested” in you by searching for what you have to offer. Since we have not done much of the initiated contact yet, it is hard to assess the value of this. Some of the in-person contacts made in the last year seem to be the ones that will yield the best possibilities so far. However, we are excited about trying to reach out to coaches and schools that are further from home in hopes of finding out more about their programs and their program needs for the 2020 graduation year. Starting this so early seems like a good move, as well, so we can really do quality research on schools and programs as high school moves along. This is a long process and exciting to get started.”
Class of 2020– Parent – Basketball
“The only reason for not giving a 10 rating would be that it is not my place to decide if a person should or should not spend money on a service like this. I have felt like this service has helped Megan to start the process of recruiting and get it going in the right direction. The assistance provided to her as well, as the resources, has been outstanding so far. It is easy to use in finding information on schools and contacting coaches.”
Class of 2020– Parent – Basketball
“NCSA has been very welcoming to both our son Trace and to my husband and me. We have received several emails keeping us posted on webinars to watch with Trace, how to post transcripts and videos and how to select colleges of interest. NCSA has also assigned a private coach for Trace and scheduled a phone interview time with our family. We are very satisfied so far and look forward to upcoming interactions with NCSA.”
Class of 2020– Parent – Basketball
“Trace and our family have been very pleased with NCSA’s communication with our family and desire to work with Trace. NCSA (Ben) has been so supportive of Trace and always encouraging Trace on things that he needs to get done for NCSA and how to handle college coach contacts. I would highly recommend NCSA to any student athlete wanting to pursue college athletics. Thank you so much, Ben and NCSA.”
Class of 2019– Parent – Basketball
“Although we haven’t yet finished Bryson’s video and submitted it to this website, numerous coaches have reached out and invited him to camps at their colleges from the West coast, East coast and everywhere in between. And although our son has decided to put off attending camps until after his sophomore year, he is still building contacts and relationships with many different college coaches.”
Class of 2020– Student-Athlete – Basketball
“The staff at NCSA is very helpful in the college recruitment process for all sports. In a very individualized format, NCSA helps athletes go to the college they are meant to play at and reach their goal of recruitment. I highly recommend NCSA to all who have a goal of playing a college sport.”
Class of 2020– Parent – Basketball
“While we chose to start the process early, we can see the long-term benefits of getting involved with NCSA. We have already been invited to several summer camps that we otherwise would have known nothing about, and it’s keeping our son engaged and excited about the process and going to college.”
