Nicholas Fagen '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2" goalie from St. Charles, Il.  I am the starting varsity goalie for the St. Charles East High School Water Polo team.  I have had previous varsity experience as well, but this is my first year as a starting varsity player.  I will graduate in the 2013 school year.  I have played four seasons of water polo, and am currently in my fifth season.  I have played for my school for 3 seasons, and for club for 1 season as well.  I can offer hard work to my future school.  I devote myself to my sport, while also keeping up with my academics.  I am always at practices, working hard and setting up, and cleaning up.  I go in for any extra practices that I can get.  

I am currently undecided of where I want to attend for college.  Of course, I would like to go to a school that is in state because of the price, as well as the fact that I am close to home.  However, I will gladly travel as well.  I don't have much of a preference, I just want the opportunity to play college water polo wherever I can!  I am open to any type of school.   

My family does require financial need, and I am willing to apply and/or work for any possible scholarships I can get.  I would like to major in journalism.  I am interested in a school that has a good journalism program, however, I would like to explore all options.  I want to be a college athlete as a freshman.  I believe I can bring a real impact on whatever team that I can be placed with.
