Jamison Shapland '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2" Senior at California High School in San Ramon California. I weigh 170 pounds and swim the 100 yard free style in 56 seconds. I am very interested in West Coast colleges with outstanding water polo programs. I was co-captain of our varsity team and I pride myself in being a hard working, disciplined athlete, who tries to bring out the best in all my teammates. I am a particularly strong defensive player and have worked hard to achieve a strong defensive capability.I always keep a open mind with new coaching styles and techniques. My dream has always been to play water polo in college, and I am open to different types of schools from private Christian to public universities. My goal is to make a positive contribution on a team. I am currently interested in becoming a P.E. teacher, but am also open to other possibilities.
