As a 6’6”, 6 rotation player, I have been training in the College Prep division of the Sports Performance Volleyball Club in Aurora, Illinois. I enjoy balancing my days between school, volleyball and work. I believe this will prepare me for the next stage of my life, going to college. My goal is to attend a university that prepares me for my career while also providing a chance to play competitive volleyball where I can make a difference.
2015-2016, Playing again for Sports Performance, i earned a spot on the 18-Wave team. We finished 18th at the St. Louis qualifier and will be playing in Nationals. I finished the club season with the 2nd highest serve % and kills. I will be playing for Hinsdale Central this spring and I have been honored with being selected as Captain.
In 2014-15 I was first selected to play on the 18 wave team. This intensive training and competition club has improved my abilities and provided me with the opportunity to travel to major tournaments in the United States, from St. Louis, Chicago, and Columbus Ohio, .
In the spring of 2015, I played for the Hinsdale Central High School Varsity team. My HS team had a great State playoffs run, making the Elite 8 Super Sectionals Final in the IHSA tournament. My play will continue to improve as I am training daily with more experienced teammates throughout the club. Volleyball is my passion and I look forward to playing at the next level.
I have always challenged myself in my classes, and senior year is no different. I am currently taking 1 ap course and 1 honors class.
