Joshua Lacey '16 Recruiting Profile

I have always known that I will be an engineer when I grow up, so I am looking for a college that can suit my academic needs to further my career. I hold fitness to be a high priority and take part in multiple sports in order to keep myself healthy. I play football, basketball, and track throughout the school year, as well as practicing Taekwondo under my father’s teachings. As much as I like to push myself in sports I push myself in school. I have taken multiple Advanced Placement classes and Honors classes each and every year. I have been given a great life because of my parents and my community so I push myself to give my time to others so that they may have a great life to. I have been on multiple Missionary trips to Teen’s Challenge in Romania, El Castillo del Rey in El Salvador, and L.A. Dream Center in California as well as multiple hours at my local church serving food to the homeless. The reason I am the best candidate is because of my determination. In anything I do, I set out to be the best. I will train harder, run faster, hit harder and have a better mental focus than anyone else and I will win. Even if I do lose I will work harder to win the next time.
