Personal Statement
Track and field means a lot to me in ways that are hard to put into words. But I will say this, for me track and field is elegantly simple: work hard in practice and you will see results in meets. And that's just what I do, I work hard in practice so that I can preform my best, or better what I thought my best was, in meets. I really value the work that I put into track and field, and it bothers me when I see others who don't have the same work ethic as me. Track is about the pursuit of excellence one day at a time, and I would not take for granted the opportunity to continue my own pursuit of excellence at the college level with other athletes who share my drive to improve.
