Christian Kveseth '13 Recruiting Profile

I have been around sports my whole life. I started out playing competitive soccer for 6 years. During those years of soccer, I decided to run track and cross country my 6th grade year. This opened up a new door to my life and ever since then I have run track and cross country. I have also competed in cross country skiing at the junior high and high school levels. I have had wonderful coaches over the past few years, some better then others but I'm always willing to work my hardest and give them my best. Although I have run varsity cross country 4 years in a row and have been voted a team captain by my teammates, track is my true passion. Along with 3 letters, and being voted a team captain in track as well. I see every track meet as a new day and a new chance to better my time, and to push myself to a new best. Being a student-athlete is very challenging but if it was easy then everyone could do it. Many people don't understand the fact that it's Student first, Athlete second. It is my dream to run track at the college level, and become as fast as I can. In college I am really interested in going into the Sports Medicine field.
