Sam Douglass '15 Recruiting Profile

I love to swim, I do/have done many sports but swimming has emerged as my most prominent. I would love to compete competitively at a high level in college. I have been swimming since I was 11 years old making state my first year.

I swim for Schroeder YMCA. I love relays. My relay split at high school sectionals and high school state were both 2 seconds faster than my individual 100 free times. I look forward to the end of season meets such as Y Nationals and USA State coming up. Team accomplishments are more important to me than individual accomplishments. I always enjoy building everybody else on the team up and working as a team to achieve team goals, whether it be winning an invitational or scoring more points than last year at state. Throughout high school, my GPA has consistently increased every semester. My junior year schedule was very tough with an AP class and 2 honors classes. I have risen my GPA up from 3.0 to 3.9, on a 4.0 scale. I am looking at going into business. 

I am always working my hardest to be the best athlete, student, and person possible.
