My goal as a swimmer and a person is to be the best that i can be, to give 110% in what i do knowing i gave it my all. I am a good candidate for a college swim team because i am fairly new to swimming making me moldable and teachable. I started swimming my freshman year in high school. My junior year i started on my club team, RACE. I have only been swimming for 3 years and i am already at a level to which swimmers are at who have been swimming since they were very young. Growing up in Haiti has made my character stand out from others, i do not take things for granted because i have learned that they can be easily taken away. I am very grateful and thankful for the opportunities that arise in my life. My parents have taught me to strive for excellence in everything i do and that transfers over to an athletic stand point and also an academic, that i think puts me aside from the rest. I love what i do and i would be honored to continue doing what i love through college.
