Personal Statement
Even though I have been swimming since I was three, I did not fall in love with swimming until high school. In high school, swimming became less of an everyday task and more of an opportunity to do something great. Competitions and fitness were great, but they did not compare to the camaraderie and friendships that I received from my swim team. I would like to continue swimming past high school and into college with the same determination and teamwork aspect. I know that classes will come first, but I believe that swimming will help me achieve greater things in college and greater things in the pool. I will always put forth my best effort in class, in the weight room, and in the pool.
