I am perseverant, stubborn and work intensely until I accomplish my goals, specially as a swimmer. I am stubborn in the way that I ignore the naysayers and keep sticking to my work and make sacrifices because I know that it will be worth it one day. I am also a JROTC cadet and it has taught me a lot about having character, leadership, independence and respect towards others. Being headstrong has brought me to excel at everything that I set my mind to achieving.
