Jacob Goodman '15 Recruiting Profile

In many ways I am like other recruits but in even more ways I am different than other recruits. I am very literate and try to read at least one book per week along with completing all school work given to me. I am also a movie buff and any thing recommended to me I will try, be it food, movies, music, etc. In my life I care about music, school, family/friends, and of course swimming. During school hours I am always trying to go beyond the work given and always looking for extra credit work that teachers can offer. Also whether in school or swimming, I follow any instructions given to me and am very open to constructive criticism because I listen to my coaches and teachers to see how I can do better or how they can help me. If I do not understand anything I always ask questions to help me perform at my best and to exceed all expectations. Some of my collegiate goals are to go to a four-year college and graduate with flying colors while also meeting new people and friends along the way. So far during my high school career I have worked at my church for half a year and have volunteered at my church last summer to teach little kids, as well as I have maintained steady grades and am getting better grades each semester. I am a very friendly person with everyone I meet but when I meet someone new I am a little shy and quiet and after they get to know me then they will see the real me. Also while I love to be social with my friends, I also like my alone time to read or listen to music.
