Mason Linehan '17 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

    My name is Mason Linehan and I am currently a high school Junior at River Falls, Wisconsin. I currently have a 2.8 GPA, our grading scale is more challenging, an A is 95% or higher.  I'm on the student council and I enjoy doing community service through my church. Soccer has been a main interest since I was little. I have been playing since I was 5 years old. I made the varsity soccer team my sophomore year and my junior year I became a varsity starter and played 75 plus minutes of most games. I play center attacking mid. Our high school mens team made it to state this year for the first time.  I felt very honored to be a part of this team and play at such a competitive level in which the game ended in double overtime, losing 2-1. It was an experience in which I learned much and will always remember.  I play soccer year round, when I'm not playing high school soccer I play club soccer with St. Croix.  My collegiate goals are to earn a degree in business, continue to learn and strive to be my best, meet new people, and play and develop my skills and love for the game of soccer. I am very interested in playing college soccer, it's my dream. I feel I would be a great addition to your soccer program. I work very hard at whatever I am doing and I am dedicated to what I love most...soccer!  I also enjoy other sports such as golfing and skiing, and participating in our schools speed and strength program.  Finally, Please let me know if I can provide you with any other information and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
