Personal Statement

My Goals would revolve around being an extraordinary student athlete. I would like to become a vital team member during my four years of eligibility. I am also wanting to follow in my fathers foot steps and get my undergraduate degree in Business. I will strive to keep a great GPA so that I will not only be NCAA eligible but more importantly strive will be competitive to receive academic honors. Most importantly I will like to help the school win a conference championship and hopefully a national Championship.

I believe i am a good leader. I have been captain of my High School team since sophomore year , scoring 13 goals and having 8 assists. As a high school Junior I scored 16 goals and had 11 assists. Also those two years we have gone 34-0, winning the school's first two soccer state championships. I have played club since 4th grade and since everyone on my team this year was a senior, I will be playing for OFC97 this coming fall. Due to my age, I will only be able to play in their OPL games and maybe a couple tournaments this next year. I believe I have the soccer knowledge to play at the next level and most of all I'm very coachable and love the game.

I am different from other players because of the people that I have surrounded myself with in my life and the lessons I have learned from them. My parents, brother, sister, coaches, friends and teachers have helped me mature into the man I am today. I believe that I am easy to get along with, I'd like to say I'm a pretty funny guy. I have played football since freshmen year starting on both sides of the ball and this year I realized that soccer is what I love to do. I told my football coaches that I couldn't play this coming fall because soccer is what I want to focus on and hopefully play at the next level. I'm willing to put in the work and I know I still have a lot to learn, but I'm ready to learn.
