Tanner Moesch '15 Recruiting Profile

    I am a 6'0" goalkeeper from Camdenton, Missouri. Currently, I play on the U18 and U19 premier teams for the Springfield Demize Academy located in Springfield, Missouri. I also play on the Springfield Demize PDL team in Springfield, Missouri. As well as the Joplin Demize NPSL team in Joplin, Missouri. The latter pair of teams are in the third and fourth tier of U.S. professional soccer respectively. The upcoming 2015 season will be my third year of semi-professional soccer experience with the Demize. I am aspiring to play soccer at an elite level, whether that is college soccer or full time professionally. 

My play style as a goalkeeper is very explosive and my standout qualities are my abilities coming off of my line as well as my shot stopping abilities. Being 6'0" as of right now, I realize the pros and cons of my height and I work tirelessly on my lower body strength, jumping, as well as my ability to claim crosses which I am very confident in. I am a sweeper keeper that dominates my box and I am reliable with my feet as well as hands in distribution. I am a very vocal commander of the back line as I seek to snuff out goal-scoring chances before they are created. As a natural leader I am the captain for my high school and academy team respectively. Goalkeeper relevant key stats; Vertical Jump: 37 inches. Squat one-rep max: 455 lbs. 

Academically I am a very focused student and I would like to pursue a Bachelors degree in Sports Management. I have a 3.2/4.0 GPA and have received a cumulative score of 27 on the ACT. Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.
