Ralph Mehitang '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, Ever Since i was a child i have always had a passion for soccer. When I Step on a soccer Field i Just feel at home and feel as if this is what i was born to do. My coach Pierre Dorivall  a former USMNT player has said that he believes that I have the ability and talent to play at the highest level which is why I work hard every day to achieve my dream of becoming a professional soccer player and representing my country Cameroon someday.
As and Athlete I am a team player and  leader on the field i know how to take charge of my team and rally my teammates together and when to lead by example. On the field i have great vision always looking for the open man, the better pass and trying to always take the better shot. I am very strong on the ball, I have Great ball dribbling skills and I have the ability to beat defenders and pick apart defenses with my pace and ball skills. I know what it means to work together as a team and I am not a selfish player. I can examine the game and see plays unfold before they happen and then make the right decision with the ball. I love competition and facing tough opponents because i believe that they bring out the best in me and help me improve my game in areas that need improving 
 I will always strive to be better and improve all aspects of my game. My Goal in life is to become a professional soccer player and also to work for a marketing firm one day. I believe i have what it takes and will continue to work to achieve my dream. I want to go to a college that has my academic requirements and where the soccer team is more like a family with the players, coaches caring about the game and the well being of each other. 
 As a student at my High School The Seed School of Maryland I take my academics seriously. My cumulative is a 3.78.  I make honor roll every quarter and i always persevere to meet goals everyday in the class room. Finally i am a part of dual enrollment class at Morgan State University  so i am taking classes at a university while in high school which I believe is getting me prepared for the academic part even more and also helping me learn how I'll be able to juggle my college soccer career and Academics. I believe that i can be an essential  part of any college soccer program because I never quit and always strive for to get better, and won't stop until i make it to the pros and even until I am the best player in the world.
