Personal Statement
Hello Everybody. My name is Lasse Bladt Olrik. I am an international student from Denmark. I am a current student at Prairie State Community College, I am graduating here in May 2015. I am looking for a good four year institution with a good soccer program. I am 20 years old(born 1993).
My dream has always been to become a fulltime professional soccer player. I came to America for my first time, back in July 2013. I chose to follow my dream as professional soccer player here in America, because it was possible for me to combine studies and soccer. Which isn't a possibility in my country.
I know that I need good grades to be able to play college soccer, which I am working hard on achieving. My current GPA is 3.2. I know that there will be demanded very much from me, in order to keep this GPA in the future, but I have tremendous diciplin, and my athletic ability is also very good. I am working hard to fulfill my dream, and the first step in fulfilling my dream is to find a school that is just as serious about their soccer program, as I need it to be. I have ambitions, and I am looking for the best, to be able to live up to these ambitions.
(History from my career in Denmark) When I played in Åbenrå BK, the best players around the country, which included me, were selected to join a squad of people, with whom I competed for a spot on the National Youth Team.
Later in my career I was selected for a talent day in Hamburg (it was called: young talents day). Hamburg SV did not invite many players from Denmark. So I was very happy that they wanted to give me and invite. So I could show them my skills.
(History from my career in Germany) After Young Talents Day in Hamburg, the coach from Flensburg 08 called me, and wanted me to play for them. I thought a lot about it, and finally i decided to move to Flensburg 08.
I have an ability to always develop my skills. If you want a player, who will do anything for the team(I will die on the field), and do not give up- then contact me!
I am the one you need at your team!
