Beau-Darian Hirata '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a very hard working competitor as well as a dedicated player to my team. I am primarily a defensive player but I will play anywhere that I am needed on the field. I can compete very well in the air and can recover quickly from any negative play. I am also very organized in the back and communicate well with my teammates to make sure our defensive line is strong. I have a high level of stamina and can compete for full matches with quality play. I have learned the importance of keeping posession and have been trained with my team to keep the ball as a unit. As a defensive player I have good vision and recognize where build up play is going to occur. Physically, I am 6 feet and 160 pounds. My sprint speed is fairly quick both on and off the ball. On the ball, I like to make over lapping runs so I can penetrate and get in behind the defense creating goal scoring opportunities for my team. I have a great passion for the game of soccer. Therefore I am looking for a team that I can further develop my skills with, while also studying for a potential career in engineering or exercise science.
