Juwan Gaul '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Juwan Gaul and I am from Brooklyn, New York, but currently lives in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Seventeen years old, Senior at Richmond Hill High School class of 2012 (4A), and LOVES soccer. Being realistic I know I can make a D2 or D3 school, but would like to be seen by D1 for exposre. I love learning on and off the field, I'm a high "B'" average student, with great JROTC leadership. I'm 5'11, 183lbs, strongest skill is MY SPEED. I can personally say that I am the fastest kid playing soccer in this part of Georgia. Coach has always told me that it's my deadly weapon, and it shows everytime I hit the filed. My touch is not the greatest, but I practice 30mins outside on days I don't have practice, and it's improving everytime. To me personally my best accomplishment is the way I push myself at practice to get better. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to be a Captain on the team, due to my parents military obligation, but every where I go I ALWAYS leave a good mark. When it comes to the leadership, never giving up (my motto- Failure is not an option), shows till the last whistle is blown. It doesn't matter where I attend college, but I would like to stay in the east coast (GA, VA, SC, NC, FL, ect.), mostly because I'm use to the area, and I have family close by. A big or medium campus, D2, anything really. I just want to make going to college as easy as possible for my Mom. I would like to either study in Business or Engineering at a great college and would even play for military college, if it was my last choice. Like I said before I KNOW I can play for a D2 school somwhere, but I just have to find the college I fit best with that can use my talent. Coach always said to us, "you might not be a D1 player, but if a D1 coach sees you and you WILL stand out a bit to him, that means a D2 and D3 will want you to play for them. I just want to have fun, get a good education while playing the sport I love!!
