Jack Miskel Socce...Personal Statement
Since my first trip to London to train with West Ham United's Youth Academy I wanted to become the best possible player that I could become so that one day I would have a chance at playing professional soccer. I realized during my trips to London that each year I was able to compete with the West Ham Academy players and did very well in the games and scrimmages that I was able to play in. West Ham wanted to sign me at U14 but my parents were not able to leave the US which was a requirement. So I continued to train with Ian Bishop, the former EPL midfielder and Captain of West Ham and Man City. Ian took me to London several years in a row and felt that I have what it takes to play at that level. When Ian's club folded this year I moved to Weston Academy where I am continuing to show my skills and perfect my game. I still have dreams of playing professionally and am looking for an environment that can help me to get to the next level.
