Personal Statement

My dream is to be a professional soccer player. One of my goals is to be a successful Student athlete. Soccer is my passion, I am fully committed to practice and both game days as well as my school work. I am captain of the club team I am currently on, I also am captain for our high school soccer. I am a starting central defender for the American Canyon Wolves Varsity men's soccer team. I have played soccer for around 12 years I started in AYSO a small soccer organization in my city then I started playing club around the age of 8. I have played in Four different club teams ( I have been playing club soccer for around 6-7 years). My dream College to go to is SFSU (San Francisco State University). Whenever fellow classmate or team mates are feeling down or depressed I am always there to lift up their spirits. Whether it be game day or not I find it my responsibility to support and encourage my companions. I am very easy to coach, I give full respect to the coaching staff for I know it is not easy to be a coach as well as the sacrifices they make. What makes me different I would say is my personality I'm not afraid to come out of my comfort zone to help out those who need the assistance. Not only is coaching me easy, but also getting along is as easy if not easier. In athletics I feel as I have plenty of experience both technical wise and with the mentality of the game. For academics I try to manage my time wisely with both practices and the homework, I give my best in class and outside. I tend to stay away from all bad influences (Drugs, parties, etc.) keeping in mind that even the slightest fault can hurt my potential, as well as my future. So not only will I bring a positive influence to your team, but also leadership material and on top of that plenty of talent, experience and all around a positive up-lifting attitude.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
