Hello my name is Cole Chapin and I currently play lacrosse for Yorktown High school and a the Peninsula Patriots travel showcase team. I would honestly love to go to any college where I could give my all to the program and play. As a athlete I am most definitely a hard worker. I have never really been a big dude on the field ( especially for defense) standing at around five eight and 165 pounds. For my sports career to make up for my lack of size I have had to work twice as hard to over preform my competition at the spots. This being from taking morning runs before school, to eating right, to lifting everyday and taking speed classes at Aiga performance. In my honest opinion all of this has made me a truly athletic, quick and fast, and a physical d pole. No matter what the adversity is I always find a way to overcome it and adapt and this has become one of my better traits along with my work ethic on the field and in academics. For my grades and schoolwork so far I am in general a pretty smart kid. I maintain around a 3.6 GPA in advanced classes. I study on a regular basis each night for around 2 hours. If you were to ask me what makes me a good candidate for your team, it would be my traits of learning, adapting, and overcoming that would make me a great fit for your program.
