Ryan Ahrens '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Ahrens and I am a 2016 lacrosse goalie at Vandegrift High School. It is a dream of mine to play lacrosse at the next level! I am very hardworking and dedicated to getting better each day. This season (2014-2015), I was on varsity for the first time and I was named First Team All-State and Defensive MVP. Outside of lacrosse, I am involved in clubs that allow me to give back to the community such as PALS and C squared. PALS stands for "Peer Assistance, Leadership, and Service" and is a very selective club. PALS gives us the opportunity to go to a middle school or elementary school and mentor a little kid there. While I give back to the community and continue to excel in lacrosse, I am dedicated to getting good grades. I understand that playing at the next requires so much more than just "being a good player" and will continue to be an all around player.
